A $ Tree popcorn bag is filled with some pretty tulips (a glass inside is holding the water) and a popcorn bowl, from Ross holds the delicious flavored popcorn. To toast the winners, I'm using my wedding crystal with my favorite diet Vernor's Ginger Ale.
I've been doing "The Zone" diet for over thirteen years now. One of my favorite snacks is popcorn (2 cups) and a stick of part-skim string cheese. I never get tired of it! Recently, bloggy buddy, Lynn at Happier than a Pig in Mud posted this popcorn recipe. I knew right away that I wanted to try it. Lynn got the recipe from another bloggy buddy, Nici, at Posed Perfection. It's really a yummy treat and too good to not share!
Cheers to the winners! |

ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like some awesome popcorn. I make mine in a brown paper bag, with some olive oil, a packet of sweetner and some salt.. in the microwave! But i think I would love the flavorings in this one.. Cute cute tray. I say a cozy set of pj's or gown makes it a perfectly legit "dress up".. Cute idea to put a jar in the popcorn bag! xo marlis

Happy Birthday, young lady! Since you're turning 21, I'm surprised you're not toasting with champagne instead of ginger ale! ;-) I really like the tulips in the popcorn bag! That's pretty neat! I'm a popcorn fanatic. I used to eat it almost every night for like 40 years. (My family LOVES popcorn, and my Dad would cook it up nightly for watching TV!) I have cut that back to maybe a couple of times a week now. I'll give this version a try! Enjoy your birthday, enjoy the Oscars, and enjoy being legal age now! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose tulips look so pretty popping out of that popcorn bag. (Great minds think alike). Happy Birthday! laurie
