Let's have some cool and refreshing key lime pie and some key lime iced tea, shall we? The delicious key lime tea is from Debbie at Mountain Breaths. Debbie and her hubby visit Key West every year. This cheery tablecloth is a favorite for summertime and it perfectly matches my cake pedestal that I was gifted several years ago from Linda at Life and Linda.
I'm a big fan of key lime pie. I normally like to make my own graham cracker crust, but I'm getting lazy these days, and bought one. If you are a fan like me, I hope you try it!
Yield: depends on size of slice

Key Lime Pie
This recipe is so easy and truly delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 large sized graham cracker crust
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup key lime juice (I used bottled Nellie & Joe's Famous Key West Lime Juice, but Mrs. Biddle's Key Lime Juice is another one)
- some lime zest, optional
Instructions
- Mix together well the sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, key lime juice and lime zest, and pour into the graham cracker crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes. Let cool and then refrigerate.
Thank you for your visit! xo
I'm sharing with these parties:
My hubby is a big fan of Key lime pie, perfect for a hot summer day! Love your colorful tablecloth and cake pedestal. I’ve never seen Key Lime Tea! We’re under a heat advisory…it’s way too hot for me with our triple digit heat index. Our upstairs HVAC unit gave up the ghost last week and temp upstairs was 91 degrees, so glad it wasn’t our downstairs unit where our bedroom is! Hope you can stay cool. Wishing you a wonderful week ♥
ReplyDeleteOh the recipe sounds creamy & dreamy! Love all of your colorful pretties! Hope you stay cool in this heat. Have a blessed week dear friend. XO
ReplyDeleteYummy. What a great summer dessert. Stay cool and comfy. Hugs and Happy New Week. Kris
ReplyDeleteThis is summer perfection, in my opinion, Kitty! I love key lime pie, and the tabletop is adorable. Yes, a perfect pairing of the cake stand/tablecloth AND key lime pie/iced tea!
ReplyDeleteYummy Kitty....the Captain LOVES key lime pie and I am making your recipe for him for his birthday tomorrow. Thanks for bailing me out as I was trying to figure out what to make. Your tablecloth is perfect and how sweet of Linda to gift you the cake pedestal...a perfect match. I am assuming the key lime ice tea is by using key limes and I always have lemons and limes in the house. Stay cool my friend and hugs and Blessings.
ReplyDeleteOH we just LOVE key lime pie here too! This sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteOh this is all so pretty! I would not mind a piece of that pie! Got any left?
ReplyDeleteMMMMMMM that's my younger daughter's fav dessert of all time. All those years in SolCal she grew key lime trees and brought two home that were potted. They're getting huge. She garages them over winter. They're not producing yet but will one day. She has such the green thumb. I haven't had Key Lime Pie in so long. What a perfect dessert for summertime. YUM!
ReplyDeleteI love the tablecloth, Kitty! Key Lime pie sounds delicious. The triple digit heat index is keeping me indoors. Happy Monday and stay cool!
