Pumpkin Coffee Cake With Brown Sugar Glaze

It was a beautiful day for some leftover pumpkin coffee cake.

I have some Pumpkin Spice Chai tea in my teapot, which tastes more like caramel.  I had made the coffee cake to share at my bible study, but had a few pieces leftover.

I made a cozy for my teapot out of two crocheted granny squares.  It fits nicely around a teapot.

My Johnson Bros English Countryside teacup has such a pretty scene and matches my platter.

This Pumpkin Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze is perfect for Fall, and starts with a cake mix.    Recipe can be found here.

My grandson, Connor, turned 23 this past week and I was able to celebrate with him.

Connor's brother, Riley,  turned 20 this past week, also,  and is pictured here doing his medic work in South Korea.  We can't wait to see him.

Thank you for your visit!  xo

  2. Love how you used two granny squares as your tea cozy, Kitty! The china is lovely too. I had Connor on my mind this Veterans' Day weekend, actually. We often think of our older veterans when the day of honor comes each year, but our young veterans are equally, if not more, important to honor. They are our future. Happy belated birthday to Connor, and im so very thankful for his (and Riley's) service.

And I always love you sharing pics of your beloved family. So glad you could celebrate Conner's bday - it just gets rarer and rarer as time flies by, doesn't it? They grow up much too fast.
