It's a beautiful Fall day in Texas!
Earlier in the week we had temperatures below freezing, but it has warmed up. We are having peanut butter pie that is so easy and would be a nice dessert for Thanksgiving. The big star quilted topper was made years ago.
Isn't this a pretty Queen Anne teacup for Fall?
Yield: At least 8 slices
Easy Dreamy Peanut Butter Pie
This is such an easy pie and I like to freeze it, and have it on hand. It tastes like peanut butter ice cream when frozen, but if you prefer, just keep it in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1 Oreo Cookie crust or a graham cracker crust
- 1- 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 12 ounces of frozen whipped topping, divided
- miniature Reese's peanut butter cups, unwrapped, or chopped peanuts for garnish
- Chocolate sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, peanut butter and powdered sugar together in a mixer until smooth. Fold or whisk in 8 ounces of the thawed frozen whipped topping. Spoon this into the Oreo or graham cracker crust.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over the pie and garnish with the peanut butter cups or chopped peanuts.
- Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight. You also can freeze the pie, but add the toppings before serving. Drizzle with hot fudge or chocolate sauce before serving.
My darling granddaughter, Harper, turned 9!! She's such a sporty and adventurous girl who loves mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, paddleboarding, gymnastics, volleyball, and basketball. Besides all that, she's so sweet!
