For today's tea time, it's Frozen Strawberry-White Chocolate Mousse Squares.
This time I made the dessert into a pie. I have to say, this is a perfect dessert for Summer!
Isn't this linen napkin bee-u-tiful?? I won a set of six of these beauties awhile back from Beeutiful By Design.
The design is just perfect for my outdoor tea, don't you think?
I found a teacup on ebay, to coordinate with the pretty napkin. I just couldn't resist the strawberries, and the bees! It's a Roy Kirkham Alpine Strawberry design.
You can find the dessert recipe here. It's definitely a cool and refreshing treat! Oh dear, it's starting to melt....I'm off to enjoy every bite!
I am sharing this with:
Thank you for your visit! xo
How nice that you found a teacup to go with those beeutiful napkins! I can vouch for this dessert being wonderful. I made it for the office and they still talk about it. I made it in July and we just finished the last piece. It freezes well.
ReplyDeleteA berry cute setting Kitty! How many meals/snacks have we food bloggers eaten that have cooled off or melted down while we get pics??? Lovin' your napkin and pretty tea cup-enjoy:@)

Oh I just came down from the sewing room...needed a snack and John made a second pot of coffee. My treats were not so beautifully plated with a strawberry bee tea theme. You always create an enticing vignette. Love those linens!
ReplyDeleteI love that you incorporated the bees for bee-yootiful, too. That is so cute! I need to start planning a tea time for one every week just for the fun of it. I love it when you do that.

ReplyDeleteThat DOES sound good, Kitty! It's not so hot here right now, but still warm enough to enjoy something cool and refreshing and delicious like strawberry pie! That strawberry and the white chocolate mousse sound like they'd be really tasty in a cocktail, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your teacup and saucer!!! I would love to have a whole set of dishes like that! And I have some tea towels that are very similar to the design in your linen napkin. I have had them out and ready to go onto a tablescape since the beginning of Spring, but I just never got around to it. I was waiting to find the perfect cups to go with the vignette. Found them about a month ago but STILL haven't moved on it. Lazy AND crazy am I!!!!!

And of course, I've already pinned the strawberry dessert recipe. It just occurred to me; you should write a cookbook (seriously).
