I had my annual tea party for our aqua group.
25 ladies attended the party. Prepping for the party, setting the tables, and doing the flowers, is all joy to me. Even though our fitness center has added additional classes for our age group that I take, like cardio, pilates, barre, total body workout and kickboxing, we still only have the bimonthly lunches for the aqua group. That's how we first started the lunches over ten years ago.
These are the photos I took before the party. Once the guests arrive, this hostess has no time to take any pictures.
These are some of the photos taken by others. Everyone brings either an appetizer, salad or a dessert to share. I provide all the teabags, sugar, creamer, flowers, and paper goods. As a hostess, there's not a lot of time to sit and enjoy the party, but the guests having such a wonderful time, and being so appreciative, is the best reward.
I was happy to spend the night with these two while my son and daughter-in-law were at a school fundraiser. Some brownie bites were leftover from the tea party and we made gnomes with them. It's always a happy time to be with these sweet girls.
Thank you for your visit! xo
