What a beautiful day to enjoy some of my amazingly wonderful birthday cake.
My darling daughter is so, so, busy, yet she found time to make this cake from scratch. Can you believe it??!! Granddaughter Cissy decorated the strawberries and Molly placed each of the berries on the cake with toothpicks. Isn't it a work of art? Molly also made the purse centerpiece which is a cardboard box. It's so cute!
I'm sipping this Queen Catherine tea in honor of my 75th birthday which is my actual baptismal name; not the Queen part! I figure that I may embrace my age and enjoy and celebrate every day. This Chinese tea blend has flavors of "dark honey, unsweetened cocoa and hints of spice". I don't really get that, but I do like it.

Molly took me out for a brunch at Cracked and Crepes, which was so good. The best part was being together. She put the balloon arrangement together which she brought for later that evening when we went bowling.
Everyone that could meet, met at a local bowling alley. We ate first and then had two lanes reserved for our family. What a fun time we had! Caiden even came in from Oklahoma State University to celebrate. Bottom photo is left to right: Mike, Harper, Molly, Connor, me, Caiden, Kristen, Hayden, and Kevin. These sweet people even wrote letters to me, which I will treasure. What in the world did I do to deserve all this love? I am one grateful and blessed Mom and Grandma.

Happy Happy 75th birthday! What a lovely celebration you had! And that cake! WOW! I would hate to cut it, but I know it was meant to be eaten and enjoyed. It certainly was a work of art! Such a lovely table setting, and that tea sounds very good. I've never heard of it before. So happy you had such a lovely birthday party with family and friends.
