I've been using this same marinade since I lived in Ohio. The recipe came from my neighbor and it is so good! I hope you try it.

Marinated Flank Steak
This is a great marinade, and it can also be used on tenderized round steak.
Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 pounds flank steak
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons oil (I use canola oil)
- 14 cup soy sauce
- 12 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Score the flank steak diagonally on both sides of the meat.
- Combine the rest of the ingredients and then put the steak into a food safe bag or into a container and marinate the steak overnight, or start in the morning and marinate all day, and refrigerate until ready to grill.
- Grill or broil until your desired doneness.
- Let rest for a few minutes, and then carve diagonally into thin slices.
Thank you for your visit! xo
