How about a mid morning pick me up with some Protein Bites?
I'm using this pretty teacup that my friend, Rosie, gave me from her mother's collection. I think it's pretty for Fall.
Yield: 20-25 depending on size
Protein Bites
Ingredients:
2 cups oats
1/2 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter or cashew or almond butter
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup Craisins, chopped
1/4 cup chopped cashews or almonds
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Mix the oats, peanut butter, honey and protein powder.
- Add the rest of the ingredients. Refrigerate for about thirty minutes. Roll into bite size balls and store in the fridge.
Notes:
Chia seeds would be a good addition, too.

ReplyDeleteOh, Kitty, what a glorious surprise for your daughter to find Connor on the couch this past weekend! He's gone from boy to man in such a short time. Again, I thank him for his service and pray God keeps all our servicemen safe and HONORED by those of us they serve and protect! The protein balls really do look good, and if Hayden (kid) approves, then maybe my big kid will like them too, you think?? ;)

Oh, what a wonderful surprise! I wish one of mine would surprise me but then everyone has to self-isolate if they come. The picture of you and your grandson is very special! You are so cute standing next to him. He looks tall. My three older grandsons simply tower over me because they are all well over six feet. I love it! I knew I would be the shrimp in the family!
