Man Dip

If you're in need of an easy dip for any occasion, you have to try Man Dip (women love it, too)!!!!  My daughter got this recipe from a neighbor years ago & our whole family loves it.  Of course, if you don't do pork sausage, you could always use bulk chicken or turkey sausage.  It's a recipe that you can remember in your head, because it's one thing of each ingredient.  Try some Man Dip for the next event you need to host or bring something to.  It'll be a HIT!!

You may want to double the ingredients!!

1 pound sausage (breakfast style is good)
1 (8 ounce) pkg, of cream cheese (I always use the "light")
1 can Rotel, not drained

Brown the sausage in a skillet. ( I actually have an electric fondue pot that I do this in.)  Add the cream cheese & stir to melt.  Add the Rotel & stir.  Let simmer & then serve.  (You can also put this in a slow cooker & keep warm.)

Serve with tortilla chips or  Fritos Scoops.

  3. I had to laugh at the name of this dish, as if it is something into which one would dip a man. LOL. It does sound like an easy, no-fail recipe that everyone would love though. Naturally, I'm going to try it! ;-)

  14. Yumm! It might be a tad over the top, but I bet this would make a great "hungry man" dinner spooned over a baked potato. I don't think my hubby would turn it down! LOL Maybe for Super Bowl??

  19. Kitty, this would've been perfect for the SuperBowl. Just as well it's televised at 10am in the morning here in Australia or I could've really tucked into something like this. I want to thank you so much for linking up each week to my "Thriving on Thursdays" linky party. You always have such fantastic ideas. The party will be starting again in just over 12 hours so if you get a chance, I'd love to see what you've been up to this week.
