The Enchanting Rose's 12th Teacup Exchange

Stephanie, from The Enchanting Rose, is having her 12th reveal party on May 17th.  I received this beautiful Royal Cuthbertson fine bone china teacup from Jo, who blogs at Miss Jo's Shabby Life.  Isn't the teacup so pretty with the scattering of roses, carnations, pansies and violas?  She sent the sweet spoon, too.

My package arrived on my doorstep, all wrapped so neatly, and I was excited to open the box!

Look at all these gifts I received!!  Jo sure did spoil me with so many thoughtful gifts.  The Farm Fresh tray will come in handy, and Jo included a canister of English Tea Shoppe Tropical green tea.

Aren't these tea towels pretty?  The notepad will come in handy, and the Colorado key chain is a nice keepsake from Jo's home state.

This darling bird was included, which has found a place in my home decor.

A thoughtful card was included and the coaster, too.  I loved all my gifts, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your lovely gifts.  Thank you, also, to our hostess, Stephanie, who selflessly organizes this exchange for women not only here, and in Canada, but throughout the world!

My recipient was Mary, who doesn't have a blog, but whom I've become friends with from the exchange.  I sent these gifts to her...The Twelve Teas of Friendship book, a pretty Gracie teacup, some chocolate caramel filled Stroopwafels, a bag of assorted teas, a chocolate scone mix (Mary loves chocolate!), and some garden gloves, because she loves gardening.

The Enchanting Rose's 11th Teacup Exchange

I can hardly believe that I have been participating 11 times in Stephanie's exchange, from The Enchanting Rose.   I was the lucky recipient from Doniene, who has two blogs,  Doniene's 365 Days-2017 and Now It's Just Quilts!  I was excited like a little kid on Christmas morning when my package arrived on my doorstep!

I received these darling note pads.  I'm forever needing these.  Aren't you?

I love cookbooks and read them like novels, from cover to cover.  I have found so many teatime treats that I'd like to make from this Afternoon Tea Book.

Doniene made me this beautiful apron and quilted a matching potholder.  Isn't that so special?

I received not one, but two teacups!  I have always wanted a Fire King peach luster teacup, on the right!  I'll bet that Doniene sent the demitasse cup of the left for one of my granddaughter's to use, don't you?

Doniene made the sweet bird that's peeking into the box of tea that she sent...so many flavors for me to choose from!

Thank you, Doniene, for all your thoughtful, and most appreciated gifts!  You certainly spoiled me and made me feel special.  I donned my Favorite Tea Shirt, that my dear daughter gave me, to enjoy a cup of tea!  I gifted Laura, from Decor to Adore as my teacup partner, and you can see what I sent to her here.   I've had the pleasure of meeting sweet Laura, and she is just a delight!  Thank you to dear, sweet  Stephanie, our hostess,  who puts so much time, effort and love in these exchanges.  Please visit The Enchanting Rose on November 8th to see all the participants.

Laura sent me this beautiful handmade, pop up card as a thank you.  Wasn't that thoughtful of her?  We all love to feel appreciated, don't we?

10th Teacup Exchange

These are my special gifts that I received from my new friend Lauren, who blogs at Wonderfully Made.  This was the 10th Teacup Exchange that the sweet hostess, Stephanie, from The Enchanting Rose organizes so tirelessly and joyously for us twice a year.  I sent my gifts to the lovely Lea from Cici's Corner.   I forgot to take a picture of the gifts that I sent, but you can check them out at Lea's blog here.   Although it's such fun to receive the package in the mail, it's just as much fun to send the package off!

I received this pretty handmade card from Lauren.  Isn't she talented?  Both Lauren and Lea are new friends that I've been fortunate to meet through Stephanie's teacup exchange.  I always love meeting new friends, don't you?

Isn't this vintage teacup so pretty?  I just love this lily of the valley design, from Royal Stuart. When I see this patch of flowers it reminds me of those that were growing along my patio, when I lived in Ohio.  I can almost smell their fragrant scent!

How did Lauren know that I love spicy tea?  Lauren said that this loose leaf tea is a best seller from the tea shop that she purchased it from.

I also received this pretty vintage, lace-trimmed hankie, pretty stickers, and....

....lavender from Lauren's garden, homemade shell-shaped lavender soap, a heart shaped tea infuser, and vintage earrings.  Lauren said that she decorates with vintage earrings.  Isn't that a fun idea?  Thank you, Lauren, from the bottom of my heart.  I LOVE all of my specially selected gifts that you shared with such generosity and thoughtfulness.  Every time I sip tea from my new teacup, I will think of you.

Thank you, dearest Stephanie, for your wonderful organizational skills and kindness in being our hostess. Please be sure and stop by to see all the loveliness at:

The Enchanting Rose's 9th Teacup Exchange

On a beautiful day, I received  these special gifts from a new blogging friend,Debby, who blogs at  My Favorite Things.  All this is made possible by the love, dedication, and organization of one dear, sweet friend, Stephanie, from The Enchanting Rose.   Thank you, Stephanie for all that you do for us!  I'm amazed how she can coordinate almost 200 participants, not just here in the USA, but around the world!

Included in the package was this beautiful teacup that came with a darling spoon.  Isn't it pretty?  I have no other like it, Debby!

I also received some yummy treats and a variety of black teas.

Debby sent me one of her own creations of a gorgeous note card....

...and this darling creamer from the Pioneer Woman's collection.  This will come in handy, as I always have milk in my black teas.

Now, if you'll please excuse me while I have a cup of Lady Grey tea and a shortbread cookie that is stamped with the Scots Thistle, and I'll read Debby's sweet note again.   I'm sorry to say that the Lindt candy is already long gone, but my, it was good!

Thank you so very much, Debby, for your thoughtful and much appreciated package.  I have enjoyed getting to know you, all through a cup of tea.

I sent these gifts to June, who doesn't have a blog, but now we are Facebook friends.  June calls herself a Red Hat Queen, and I thought she deserved a teacup with a castle on it.  June sent me a sweet thank you note and a yummy new-to-me tea.  Thank you, June!

The Enchanting Rose's 8th Teacup Exchange

Dear Stephanie, from The Enchanting Rose had her eighth teacup/mug exchange, and I must admit that this is something that I so look forward to.  I appreciate all the time, effort and creativity that Stephanie does to execute this event.  This time there were 167 ladies that participated.  Thank you so much Stephanie!  The lovely lady that gifted to me was Deb, from Garage Sale Gal, and look how she spoiled me!

Be still my heart...just look at this beautiful cottage teacup, by Colclough, made in England.  I'm pretending that I'm living in that sweet cottage with the thatched roof and strolling among the beautiful gardens.  Don't you just love the gold, whimsical adornment on the white parts of the design?

Mmmmm which tea should I choose first???  I think the Raspberry Earl Grey for today's tea!

Deb sent her favorite chocolates for me to try, too.

More goodies....yummy candles for a soft glow and delicious scent!  Isn't the handmade gift tag so creative?

Yes,  Deb, thought of everything!  Included were wonderful tea note cards, and stickers.  It was a pleasure to mail one off to Deb for all her thoughtful gifts!

Isn't this handmade tag so cute, too?  There's a sweet teapot charm tied to the handle.

Now, please excuse me while I sip my tea, enjoy the lovely scent of the candle, and nibble on my chocolates!  Thank you so very much, from the bottom of my heart, Deb, for our connection through a beautiful teacup.  I will think of  you whenever I use it!

I had the pleasure of gifting my friend, Judith, from Lavender Cottage and Gardening.  As a thank you from Judith, she sent me one of her lovely, handmade cards and a handmade bookmark.  Just look at the back of the envelope that she created!  Thank  you for your thoughtfulness, Judith, it was greatly appreciated.  I also had the pleasure of sending a teacup and package to Janice, who no longer blogs, but wanted to participate.  You can see pictures of all of those who participated, by visiting at  The Enchanting Rose's 8th Teacup/Mug Exchange .

Teacup Exchange

Recently Stephanie from The Enchanting Rose had her 7th teacup exchange, and oh how I was spoiled by Celestina Marie from Southern DayDreams!!!!   The package arrived on my doorstep and I could hardly wait to open it!!  Come and see all the lovely gifts that were packed inside...

Look at this gorgeous hand painted hat box that Celeste painted especially for me!  I am truly honored.  Look at all the pretty detail .

The trim around the lid is just exquisite!  Look at the beautiful rose, the checkerboard, and the darling dots.

This rose is inside the hat box, at the bottom.  I was overwhelmed by all the beauty, time, and talent that went into this work of art.

And then...this teacup that matches the design on the hatbox!!  Can you believe it??!!  Celeste even sent a pretty spoon for my tea.  How did she know that I have been wanting a teacup with some black in it?  It's so elegant and all my favorite colors, too!

Celeste also made this darling pumpkin.  Isn't it the sweetest with the lace, roses, and cute tendrils and top?  The pumpkin is going in my bedroom, as it fits right in.

If you'll please excuse me, I'm going to enjoy a cup of Breakfast in Paris tea in bed, some chocolate covered cherries, and read my Cup of Friendship book, all while enjoying my cherry scented candle. Thank you Celeste from the bottom of my heart!  Celeste is a fellow Texan and we hope to be able to meet one day.  Thank you, also, to Stephanie, who organizes this lovely teacup exchange.  Without her, none of these friendships would happen.

Linda was my recipient for the gift exchange, and in my excitement to mail my gifts to Linda, I had forgotten to take a picture.  I copied a picture that Linda put on her My Sew What Blog.  The thrill of giving gifts to your recipient is such a joy and I thank Stephanie for providing that for us.

As an expression of  her gratitude, Linda sent the sweetest note and some homemade soap.  The soap is such a pretty color and it makes my skin feel so great.  Thank you, Linda!
