Tea with the Engaged Couple

I  had a charcuTEArie party for my grandson Caiden, and his fiancée Elizabeth.

Elizabeth will be at Texas A&M and Caiden will be working 20 hours a week for an investment firm and going to University of Texas at Dallas.

It was just a simple charcuterie for them to fill their birthday teacups.  Desserts were Trader Joe's macarons, and also their Chocolate Crepe wafer cookies, and my little rosebud bundtlettes.

This is Elizabeth's August filled teacup.

This is Caiden's May filled teacup.

This was our flower filled teapot.

My friend Joy and her hubby brought me back these adorable teapot sugars from their recent trip to Paris.  We used them for our assortment of tea flavors that Caiden and Elizabeth had given me for Christmas, although Caiden said, "Nana, do you have any English Breakfast Tea?"  I offered him some Irish Breakfast tea and he liked that.  We had a fun time catching up.

This is one of my very favorite meals and I made it two weeks in a row.  It really is so good!  You can click on the link for the recipe:   Tomato Tart.  I hope you try it and love it.  Campari tomatoes are so good in this tart and I use the whole container of them, and Fontina cheese really is the best for it.

Thank you for your visit!  xo

I just gave my tomatoes to my neighbor as we are leaving for California and won't be able to use them. Once I get back, this tart is calling my name. Thanks so much for the recipe. Happy Thursday!

  13. Kitty, what a sweet way to celebrate Caiden and Elizabeth! They make such an adorable couple, and I love your clever “charcuTEArie” party and filling their birthday teacups with goodies. The flower-filled teapot is so pretty, and those darling teapot sugars from Paris are almost too cute to use! I had to smile at Caiden requesting English Breakfast tea. 😊 Your tomato tart looks absolutely delicious too—I can see why you made it two weeks in a row! 16. The tomato dish reminds me of the tomato pie we used to get at a barbecue place when we lived in SC. I was eventually able to get the recipe, and oh, my! It is so good! Congratulations to the happy couple!

  17. After falling victim to a phishing scam, I lost a substantial amount of bitcoins from my wallet. I thought all hope was lost until I came across a reputable bitcoin recovery company (Boleyn Magic Hackers). They were able to trace the transactions and identify the scammer’s wallet. With their help, I was able to recover a significant portion of my lost bitcoins. It was a huge relief, and I am forever grateful for their assistance. Contact them (support@boleynonline.com) for recovery
