Buckeye Fudge

I've set up a tea with some saved buckeye fudge.

My Happy November teacup !

Sweet mini bouquet of flowers from Trader Joe's, with even a succulent on a stick.

A few pieces of delicious fudge for my son.

Over the weekend, one of our instructors at Lifetime Fitness, who teaches water aerobics, dance, and total body workout to our Arora (senior) group opened her home for a Friendsgivng party.  We all brought something to share, and I brought buckeye fudge, since I mostly grew up in Ohio, went to Ohio State, got married, and had my four children there.  I added a sprinkle of flaky sea salt this time to the fudge.  The recipe for the buckeye fudge can be found here.  I used milk chocolate chips this time, but semi-sweet is better.

My son Mike had to do a quick pumpkin carving this year since he's been working on the creation of a video game.  He decided to do one of the latest craze of the Labubu, or as he called it, LaBooBoo.   The ears are made from a sweet potato.   On Trick-or-Treat night people were wanting to buy it.  He did put it out on the curb for free, after he cleaned out the seeds because he loves to roast them.

Thank you for your visit!  xo

I'm sharing with these parties:

  6. Hello Friend, I love the pumpkin carving. :-) I like to roast pumpkin seeds too. I roast a savory pumpkin seed using Old Bay Seasoning and a sweet pumpkin seed using cinnamon and sugar. How does your son roast his?

  9. I'd love some of your buckeye fudge!

Mike's LaBooBoo pumpkin is great! It's funny how the Labubus became the hot toy collector item. Back in my day, it was beanie babies. Lol.
