It was the perfect Fall day for a tea! I'm having some cookies that Cissy and I made and some Harney and Sons Chai tea. The cottage teapot reminds me of Fall, and my leopard decoupaged pumpkin that was a project that a friend and I did years ago, looks perfect on my minky throw.
This throw was a fun project and adds a little whimsy to my table.
This sugar cookie recipe is a great one and can be found here. If you go to my post, you can see that Cissy was baking with me back then, too!
This little cutie pie, Hayden, had her 6th birthday party at a skating rink. She also was at a rock climbing party for another friend a couple days before. She adds so much fun and happiness to my life.
Early in the week my granddaughter,
Cissy, texted me to ask if she could bake with me sometime. She was on
Fall break and I of course was thrilled and said for her to come on
over!!!! We had the best time together!! While our dough was chilling, I took her to get a pedicure, and she said, "This is so relaxing!" It's so much more fun to decorate sugar cookies with a granddaughter.
In the top left of the photo, I had just received a fabulous giveaway in the mail from Mary, at Home Is Where The Boat Is, and we used the wonderful items. Thank you so much, Mary!
Thank you for your visit! xo
