This photo was taken in May 2013, three months before my beloved passed away and six months before his Mom passed away.
My dear Mother-in-law, age 95, passed away on November 19, 2013. She was born on October 5, 1918. I'm sure she had a wonderful surprise to see her middle son, and my beloved husband there waiting for her as she entered heaven. I once wrote in a card to her that the best gift she ever gave me was her son, Rich. She is survived by two other wonderful sons, two daughters-in-law, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was truly blessed.
Thank you for your visit. xo
Good Morning Kitty, I'm so sorry you lost your mother-in-law, but it's so wonderful how the Lord gives us comfort and peace during these times. I can just imagine what a great reunion she and your husband are having right now.
ReplyDeleteOh Kitty not another loss, my sweet friend. I am so sorry honey.
ReplyDeleteMay your faith sustain you, and your loved ones all be united in heaven and in Christ's love.
Big hugs, honey, I am so sorry.

I am sure that it is a bittersweet picture for you to look at. God bless you as you go through the loss of your dear mil. I am sorry for the loss of your hubby but maybe he was meant to be there to welcome his Mama home- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThis seems like too much sadness for your family all at once. All I can think of is that there are no tears in heaven, Kitty.
ReplyDeleteThey have the same smile!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you & your family have to deal with a second loss of a beloved family member. Be comforted in knowing they are together now & neither one is suffering any longer.
I wish I could give your a warm, comforting {{HUG}} right now. The holidays will be so difficult without both of these sweet people. Know that their spirit lives on in your memories.
Prayers for Peace,
Rett
I am so sorry that you've had another loss in the family, Kitty. My prayers go out to you & your family.
ReplyDeleteKitty - I knew she was very ill, but I am still so sorry that your family must deal with her passing right now. You are correct, though - she and Rich should have a happy reunion in heaven!! I am sure that she was a wonderful person, since she and my daughter shared the same birthday!! Hugs and prayers!!
ReplyDeleteOh Kitty,
ReplyDeleteI too am sorry for your loss. You know, my sister died when she was 33. Momma passed away when she was 83-can you imagine the joy Momma felt having her daughter and husband waiting for her-this comforts me so. All 3 of my precious family members are together now and watching over me and my family-
Thinking of you dear,
Jemma
Kitty, I am so very sorry. So, so much loss this year! I'm sure her welcome to Heaven was blessed by her son being there.
ReplyDeleteI think of you daily and you're always in my prayers. If I can help in any way, please don't hesitate to let me know!

Oh Kitty - I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how tough for her to lose her son before she passed...had to be tough on that mama's heart too huh? I would love to hug you Sweetie...but since I can't, I will certainly remember you all in prayer. Such a nice photo...I'm so glad you shared it. Love U Dear. XO
ReplyDeleteKitty, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have you in my prayers. May she rest in peace and may you all find the Lord's comfort.
ReplyDeleteKitty, what a beautiful woman! What a wonderful reunion for her too. She lived a wonderful life. My father was born in 1914 so would have been 99 in October. I thought of that with my next door neighbor being 95. He has been so healthy until this last couple of years. The body just wears out, and how wonderful to know that there is life after this life and a great reunion to come! Thanks for your wonderful words of faith and love.
ReplyDeleteKitty, I am sorry for your loss. I remember when you and your dear hubby visited her. Lots of hugs for you my dear friend. xo Debbie
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to read about your loss, Kitty. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this has been such a difficult year for you, Kitty. I haven't visited much lately because I've been taking a break from my blog and have had a lot going on here. But I've been thinking about you often because the holidays are almost upon us, and I know they'll be hard for you this year.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, and again, I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing with us.
Special hugs to you,
Denise at Forest Manor
What a wonderful reunion must be going on Kitty!

ReplyDeleteHaving just lost my MIL this year, I will lift prayers with an empathetic heart. I am so sorry for your loss but rejoice with you that she is in a wonderful place right now. (I haven't forgotten that this season will be a lonely one for you. I promise that though I have been away for so long, I have not and will not forget to lift you before and during this season. I know it will be so hard. )
ReplyDeleteLove to you,
Debbie
