I was so happy to take my four older grandchildren out to lunch ! They chose Panera for our stop.
The boys went home and Avery and Cissy came back to my house to decorate gingerbread cookies and to make the pretzel rolo or kisses treats. They sat at the little kid table like old times.
They were very creative with their decorating. Cissy turned a bell into Dora the Explorer and a gingerbread boy into Elmo. Funny!
Avery's star turned into a happy starfish! Aren't the pretzel treats pretty? It was just like old times and so fun to hear the girls laughing and chatting away.
Then we had an impromptu tea party. The girls chose vanilla chai tea with whipped cream on top and I had white chocolate peppermint tea with whipped cream.
After that we had a dance party in my bedroom with the three of us. Avery somehow put YouTube onto my TV and we did dancing by following animated characters. I had such a fun day, and they did, too. Thank goodness that I have these fun grandchildren in my life.
Thank you for your visit! xo
