I am having some cranberry tea in my new Rosina bone china teacup, made in England, that I received from Ceil.
Thank you so very much, Ceil, for your thoughtful and much appreciated tea time gifts! Thank you to Stephanie for hosting such a fun exchange!
Just look at this beautiful hand-painted teacup! Isn't this a beauty? Somehow, drinking tea from such a gorgeous teacup makes it extra-special.
I am sharing this with:
Very pretty! I'll bet the blueberry tea tastes great and I love those cookies-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteOh Kitty, this is beautiful!! I LOVE, LOVE bone china from England! What a treat and a wonderful exchange from Ceil. Unfortunately for me, I could eat shortbread until I pop. :) It's not exactly a low-fat, low-cal food. :) Your primrose is beautiful and cheerful, and so is the pretty golden placemat.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy participating in this teacup exchange; maybe I need to check it out. Thanks for showing us your beautiful gifts and have a wonderful day!
Blessings,
Denise at Forest Manor

ReplyDeleteThe teacup is pretty, and exchanges are a nice way to meet other bloggers. Lorna Doone shortbread is new to me but any shortbread is a great accompaniment to a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new tea things.
Hi Kitty, I love your teacup. Stephanie's exchanges are just as sweet as she is! My hubby loves Lorna Doones!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good week.

ReplyDeleteHello Kitty
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the sweetest cups I've seen! I love foraging around the Hospice shops here - I'm always looking for pretty tea cups but so far I've only found a gorgeous old saucer!
I find the shortbread very interesting - my husbands late mother's name was Lorna Doone Campbell, she would have loved this! I'll keep my eye out for it here to surprise him!
What a fun Tea Cup Exchange - does this happen once a year? I would love to join in next time round as I enjoy everything to do with tea!
Hugs
Shane

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty teacup, Kitty! I would love to participate in these teacup exchanges but the postal service here in Canada is just too expensive. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.
