Fluffy Caramel Apple Dip

It's a pretty Fall day here in Texas and I'm having some crisp Gala apples with some fluffy caramel dip.  My glass plate is shaped like an apple and came from my sister.  This dip is so yummy!!  The recipe is from my long time blogging friend, Marsha, at The Better Baker.

I thought I'd use my Rose Chintz teacup, by Johnson Brothers.  I love all Johnson Brothers patterns!

I saw this Red Apple Harvest tea by the Republic of Tea, in the grocery store.  I love trying new flavors.

Isn't the color of the tea so vibrant??!!  It matches the apple slices.  It's really good iced, too.  I enjoyed sipping it out on my patio, and St. Francis kept me company!

I've been getting to attend my sweet grandchildren's events.  Top left is Ella, and Avery in the middle, and then Cissy on the bottom.  Top right is Caiden #45, Riley #92, and Cissy at the bottom.

Little Hayden had her 3rd birthday party!  I was able to get a  picture with my four kids, and then all the grandchildren had a picture together, except for Connor, who is in the Marines.

Fluffy Caramel Apple Dip

Fluffy Caramel Apple Dip

This is the perfect Fall dip to serve with some crisp apples!

Ingredients

  • 1- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened (I used lite)
  • 1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, optional (I didn't use)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4-1 cup marshmallow fluff

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese, caramel topping , and brown sugar (if using), and vanilla with a hand held mixer, until smooth.
  2. Add the marshmallow fluff and beat until creamy.
  3. Cover and refrigerate.
  4. You can garnish with chopped peanuts, or toffee bits, if desired.

  4. Wonderful family photos! Hayden looks so cute standing in front of her birthday table. Your family really knows how to honor birthdays.

It is wonderful to be able to attend your grandchildren's sports activities. We are not allowed to attend our grand children's sports activities nor our parents allowed to watch their own children play sports. Some places have the craziest ideas!

    Have a wonderful week!

  5. Dear Kitty, it is so good to visit you again. I am late to the tea party I'm afraid. I do hope St Francis minded his manners. That apple tea is a true red color. Almost too pretty to drink! The photographs are so sweet. The grandchildren are growing too fast. Praying for Connor in the Marines. ♥ and I'm your newest follower!

  7. What a pretty posting, Kitty! You know I love the Rose Chintz teacup and I too love all the Johnson Brothers patterns too! You are so blessed to be able to attend all your grandchildren's events! At the moment we have our oldest grandson here on the Island. All the others live away and we sure do miss them. That may change in the near future however as we have had some news. I will have to update you soon. Have a beautiful day. Hugs...Sandi

  10. I'm a fan of the JB designs too! Sandi inspired me to add the Rose Chintz tea sets to my collection.

Love this week's apple theme tea. Republic of Tea isn't available up here, unfortunately.

Happy Birthday to Hayden. Can't believe that she's 3 now. The donut (?) rainbow is too cute!

  19. What great pictures, Kitty! It looks like you're enjoying some fine weather in Texas as I can tell by your photos. What event events you got attend too. Our grandsons sports are much more restrictive and they only allow 1 or possible two immediate family to attend so we haven't seen our boys play baseball or soccer at all recently :( The fluffy apple dip sounds soooo good!

  20. It is so wonderful that you are getting to attend all the events, sweet friend. I am so thankful that pandemic isn't keeping you apart from your family. It is surely a crazy world we now live in. It was sad not seeing Connor in the photo - I know you all miss him terribly. May the Lord continue to bless you and keep Connor and all of you in His care. Sending love and hugs your way today!

  21. What a happy post, Kitty. Your family is absolutely beautiful - and so active!

Thank you for the recipe - anything to get me to eat more apples, haha. It's so weird. I love apples in baked goods but never loved them just cut fresh - unless there's a ridiculously fattening dip involved. Now don't get me wrong - I DO eat them raw with skins on, but it takes an effort. Not sure why. Weird, I know.

So - extra thanks, cuz an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right?

    Stay well. Big hugs. ♥
