Patriotic Pizzelles

For today's tea in the garden, I'm serving Patriotic Pizzelles, which are my hubby's favorite cookie.  You can find the pizzelle recipe here.    The Williamsburg pewter teapot was gifted to me from my late Aunt Kitty.

I added a little food coloring to the batter to add some patriotic pizazz!

Uncle Sam is proudly waving his flag and we thank our countrymen and women for the gift of Liberty.

I am sharing this with:

  3. Hi Kitty,
What very pretty cookies! My granddaughter stayed with us over the weekend and can you guess what she brought with her? Yup, Pizzelles! Not as pretty as yours, but they sure were good! Your patriotic tea is so lovely and using your pewter teapot so perfect! Thanks for the recipe and have a great holiday!
