Springtime M&M Treats

My youngest grandchild, Hayden, spent the night with me this past week.

We had our first tea in the garden, and Hayden put on a pretty dress for our tea party.

We made some M&M pretzel treats, which were perfect for her to help.  Here she is putting the candy melts on the pretzels.

She loved putting the M&M's on the melted candy, and she even made a "pattern" of pink and purple.

We used these pretty flowers that her parents gave me, and my cabbage bunny teapot.

We used bunny teacups for our Springtime tea.  Hayden had apple juice.

I used my bunny tea infuser that  Linda, from Life and Linda sent me.  Isn't it the cutest??  Thank you so much, Linda!

Barbie was a guest at our tea party.  Hayden ate all four of the chocolate covered strawberries that I made for her!

She enjoyed every single bite!

The next morning, in her Hello Kitty pajamas, we made lollipops from a mold that I used when my four kids were little.  When asked what her favorite food is, Hayden always says, "CANDY"!

Springtime M&M Pretzel Treats

Springtime M&M Pretzel Treats

These little treats are so perfect for little ones to help. Just be sure to take the parchment paper off of the baking tray, so as not to burn their little fingers.

Ingredients

  • Small square pretzels, such as Butter Snaps by Hanover
  • White candy melts
  • Springtime colored M&M's

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  3. Put a candy melt on each pretzel square.
  4. Place in the oven for about 3 minutes.
  5. Carefully lift the parchment paper off of the baking sheet, and put on the counter.
  6. Place one M&M in the center, and then place six M&M's around the outside to form the petals, making sure to adhere them to the melted candy. It's best to place the M upside down, if you can.
  7. Let cool or place in the fridge to hasten them to harden.
  8. Enjoy!

Notes

Wouldn't these be fun to make for other holidays with the various M&M colors?

Thank you for your visit!  xo  Happy Easter!

I have never seen a tea infuser as sweet as this one. And then there is your adorable guest of honour in the prettiest of dresses. How fabulous that Barbie sat at the celebratory table as well.
