The Enchanting Rose's 12th Teacup Exchange

Stephanie, from The Enchanting Rose, is having her 12th reveal party on May 17th.  I received this beautiful Royal Cuthbertson fine bone china teacup from Jo, who blogs at Miss Jo's Shabby Life.  Isn't the teacup so pretty with the scattering of roses, carnations, pansies and violas?  She sent the sweet spoon, too.

My package arrived on my doorstep, all wrapped so neatly, and I was excited to open the box!

Look at all these gifts I received!!  Jo sure did spoil me with so many thoughtful gifts.  The Farm Fresh tray will come in handy, and Jo included a canister of English Tea Shoppe Tropical green tea.

Aren't these tea towels pretty?  The notepad will come in handy, and the Colorado key chain is a nice keepsake from Jo's home state.

This darling bird was included, which has found a place in my home decor.

A thoughtful card was included and the coaster, too.  I loved all my gifts, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your lovely gifts.  Thank you, also, to our hostess, Stephanie, who selflessly organizes this exchange for women not only here, and in Canada, but throughout the world!

My recipient was Mary, who doesn't have a blog, but whom I've become friends with from the exchange.  I sent these gifts to her...The Twelve Teas of Friendship book, a pretty Gracie teacup, some chocolate caramel filled Stroopwafels, a bag of assorted teas, a chocolate scone mix (Mary loves chocolate!), and some garden gloves, because she loves gardening.

I am sharing this with these lovely parties:

Both of those tre cups are lovely. The one you sent out looks nice with the garden gloves. :-)
I love Emily Barnes and had the opportunity of hearing her speak many, many years ago while we were living in Canada. She is such a lovely lady and quite gracious. Her books certainly show forth her gentle character.

As always, it's a joy visiting here with you~

  10. What wonderful packages! I'm absolutely smitten with the beautiful purple teacup from Jo. I think I have the same aqua (?) Gracie china teacup. I've had the regular stroopwafels so I'm intrigued by the chocolate caramel versions. I'm sure that they taste great with the tea samplers that you gave Mary.

And truly - no one I know loves chocolate more than she! How she is so tiny amazes me. I think she is more like a hummingbird than a human sometimes. ♥

  22. Kitty: You asked about the teacup stand - my Hubby used to make these for my shop where we sold them. I have enough for a large group of people. You can get the hardware from Maryland China Company assuming they still carry them. The plates crack and break so keep that in mind when drilling. My husband used water to keep the bits cool.
